FDM wanted a way to show the large range of services they offer to their members. I came up with the idea of making postcards instead of making brochures. And to place postcard stands in the points of contact with the members.
Postcards are easy to carry, they can be directed to a specific topic and they can easily show range. The front showed an illustration (made by me), a short headline and a department color. The back expanded the information about the product – and had a link to the full story online.
Impact
The organization was steered away from extensive brochures, leading to a reduction in printing costs and a substantial increase in awareness about the services offered. This was recognized with an award from an international industry organization.
