The users would be adults, so the navigation needed to be logical and the information easy to find. But, at the same time, it was important to give the impression of a toy store and to give something for the kids to look at, while mom is looking at the info.
The solution was to make a center ‘wall’ where the navigation and content where placed and then make small fairytales on the border of this wall. That also had the advantage of allowing the whole site to change with the seasons.
